The foundation of the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales is based on the essentialness of developing the skills of post-16 learners in Wales and support their progress to compete in an international employment market. The Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales attempts to equip learners with relevant contemporary knowledge in conjunction with opportunities for experiential learning in a variety of context. It is only with experiential learning that young people will be able to develop their skills through a process of planning, doing, and reflecting.
It is anticipated that this Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales Introduction Resource would be
used by teachers, learners, and other stakeholders to support their understanding of the qualification.
