The WJEC Course Companion ‘My Journey’ has been developed for the learners to support them throughout the qualification. It includes an overview of the qualification and the components, and also provides a variety of real-world activities to keep learners engaged during the development of their skills. This resource, together with the Induction Activity ‘Planning a Virtual Road Trip’ will ensure a comprehensive introduction to the qualification and support transition from the National/Foundation Skills Challenge Certificate in terms of the standard of skills required at this level.
Milestones in the progress journey are identified so that learners can plan their own next steps through appropriate practice activities helping them to become more independent and resilient. There is advice for learners on the assessment of each Project and how to prepare to achieve their best.
